Lily Nicole Balogh began studying dance at Broadway Dance Center in 1998. In 2001, she moved to School of American Ballet (SAB). While there, she studied during summers with Hungarian National Ballet, Central Pennsylvnia Youth Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and SAB. At the latter, she performed in Valse Fantasie, Stars and Stripes 2nd Regiment, Serenade and as demi-soloist in Bouree Fantasque (Balanchine) and in Scenes de Ballet (Christopher Wheeldon). She also has participated in choreography projects at the SAB Student Choreographic Workshop, New York Choreographic Institute, Some Dance Company and Ballet Next.
In 2010, Lily began her professional career by joining New York City Ballet. During her stay there she appeared in Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake and The Magic Flute (Peter Martins); and Tchaikovsky Suite #3, Stars and Stripes 2nd Regiment, The Sleeping Beauty, Jewels Emeralds, Brahms-Schoenberg Quartet 3rd Movement, The Nutcracker, Episodes Bach section and Union Jack Dress Montgomerie (Balanchine).
