3 World Premieres by: Peter Quanz • Jay Donn • michele Wiles

Welcome to BalletNext where invention trumps convention. Three radically different world premieres--all set to Baroque music, or a riff on it, and all played live--are on the boards for BalletNext's New York Live Arts season, February 10-14. Packed with choreographic adventures including the BalletNext debuts of international choreographer Peter Quant and Brooklyn flex dancer Jay Donn, the season heralds Michele Wiles's first foray into choreography. The music is by 18th century composers Corelli and Biber, with a 21st century world premiere by electro-acoustic cellist/composer Chris Lancaster.
